To Māori, Kawakawa is a healing plant and protocols must be respected before any harvesting can take place. This includes not taking more than 3 leaves from each plant, and only collecting the leaves with holes in them as it is believed that the moth larvae only touch the sweetest leaves. This patch of Kawakawa must be very sweet indeed! The rich greens of this original NZ wall art will tell its story beautifully in any room of the home or office.
