Harakeke (flax) grows wildly on North Head, Devonport which is very close to where I live. The flax accompanies your ascent to the top where stunning 360-degree views of the Waitemata Harbour and the Hauraki Gulf await you. I make this little trek every weekend and it is always so calming and grounding.
