Spending a summer in Central Otago with camera in hand was nothing short of an awe-inspiring experience. Living in a city, I had forgotten how it felt to experience vastness and remoteness. I felt closer to history somehow but perhaps that was due, in large part, to the beauty and calm that descends upon you as you travel through these parts.
